I’m an Orchardist, which mower is suited to my needs?
You’re best to speak to one of our team about your specific needs but in broad terms the Vineyard Series (‘V’) mowers are purpose built for Orchards and Vineyards. They come standard with the side discharge option.  Other options are 3 blade styles, front rollers, rear wheels and various width options from 1.6 meters to 3 meters. I’m an Orchardist with contoured (V shaped rows). Do you have a mower for this application? (These are often called Drop-Centre or Flex-Mowers).

We run a Dairy farm, which mower would you suggest we consider?
The “PM” series mowers have been exclusively designed for the dairy farmers although are used for many other applications. The mower mainly sold to Dairy farmers is the PM30 (3m).  This has 3 blade options for fine cut, mulch or standard topping. The main consideration is the width of your gateways, some farmers go for the PM27 (2.7m) to save them squeezing through tight gateways. For any more info please contact us here.


We have a Sheep and Beef property, which mower is suited for us?
The mowers mainly sold to Sheep and Beef farmers are the PM30 (3m), PM27 (2.7m) or the PM24 (2.4m). They have 3 blade options for fine cut, mulch or standard topping. The main consideration is the width of your gateways. 


I have a Life style block which would you suggest?
The main consideration is the size of your tractor and what you are trying to achieve with you mower. If you are only topping behind horses or mowing along the roadside generally the ‘Lifestyle PM15’ is an ideal size to go for. Will Galaxy make Special Build mowers?
We have done all sorts of mowers for various different applications. Do you stock spare parts?
We endeavour to carry a reasonable selection of parts at all times.


Do you have a variety of blades i.e. finishing blades?
Yes, we have three types of blades.
Mulching blades, these are a stack of three blades rotating together to give a pulverised result.
Topping blades, these are standard rotary slasher blades.
Swing tip Blades, these are a blade set that have a blade holder and a replaceable fine cutting mowing tip.
 
 
Where are the grease points on the rollers?
The front roller bearings are non greasable bearings, they are sealed and run in heavy duty oil. The rear rollers are greasable and the grease nipples are located at each end of the roller shaft.
 

Delivery:


Where do you deliver to?
We deliver to any nominated dealer yard in Australia, New Zealand or to a freight company where pickup can be arranged.
 

Do you have order lead times?
If we have the requested product in stock, lead time is 2-3 days depending on your location.
If it has to be made to order allow approx 2-3 weeks.
 

Our operation isn’t in New Zealand, will you deliver to us?
We do have multiple locations we deliver to outside of New Zealand, please contact us and we’ll direct you to our nearest support team.
